Charity Information Where will the Hospice be? It will be a new building set in its own grounds with landscaped gardens. The site will have good access for patients and families from both the Great Yarmouth and Waveney areas.
What is Palliative Care? Palliative Care is the active, total care of patients whose disease is not responsive to curative treatment.
It is an approach that improves the quality of life for patients and their families when facing the problems associated with life-threatening illness.
It works to prevent and relieve suffering by treatment of pain as well as the many other unexpected problems.
Fundraising and Support We have already raised the funds to complete the architectural design work and to prepare a business plan.
Now we are starting to raise funds for building and equipping the hospice. We want it to be owned by and very much part of the local community, so we need your help.

Steering Group The project will be guided forward by a steering group drawn from leading local bodies and organisations who have keenly supported our plan to see a hospice established here.
